Rules

• This is an inter-collegiate event, accepting all type of performances (Solo, Duo & Group).
• Reporting time to the event and dance sequence of the competition must be strictly followed by the participants. The participants should arrive atleast an hour before their performance.
• Event duration:( respective time)
• The time limit of the performance will be 4+2 minutes from empty stage to empty stage.
• Stage Specifications : stage area 20ft x 22ft (approx).
• All costumes and accessories have to be arranged by the participating team. Naked flames and live animals are not allowed.
• The participating teams are requested to ensure that their presentation is in keeping with dignity of the fest.
• The teams should carry an official letter from their respective institutes signed by the competent authority, mentioning the name of participants.
• Participants should get their songs/music on a pen-drive. It is advised that they have a backup in CD. Team !MPULSE will not be responsible for this.
• Marks shall be deducted for exceeding the time limit (20% deducted for exceeding 6 minutes and team might be disqualified for exceeding 8 minutes based on judge’s discretion).
• PARTICIPANTS HAVE TO RECORD AND SEND A VIDEO OF 90 TO 120 SEDONDS FOR THE PRELIMINARY ROUND BY 5:00 P.M, 19 TH APRIL, 2022. THE SELECTED CONTESTANTS WOULD THEN BE CALLED FOR THE FINAL STAGE PERFORMANCE ON 21 ST OF APRIL. THE RESULTS OF THE PRELIMINRY ROUNDWILLBE ANNOUNCED BY 1:00 P.M, 20 TH APRIL, 2022. • Any props or other materials that have to be used will have to be managed by the participating team itself. The organizers will not provide any properties or materials.
• In case of malfunctioning of any equipment provided, the team will be allowed to repeat their performance from the beginning or from the point of disruption that the team wishes, with the consent of the judge.
• If the participating team does not show up at their allocated time then the team will be disqualified. In case of unavoidable circumstances please contact the organizers. The participation fee will not be refunded under any circumstances.
• Decisions made by the organizers and judges will be binding and final.

Battle Of Bands

Rules

• The time limit for the performance, including the sound check, is 12 minutes.
• Equipment provided will be: a) adequate microphones, b) drum set.
• Bands will be disqualified on the spot for misconduct, obscenity or foul language and will be banned from performing at all subsequent editions of !MPULSE.
• Marks will be deducted for exceeding time limit.
• Bands have to bring their own musical instruments and special effects. Programmed music is not allowed
• !MPULSE will not be held responsible for the failure of any instrument
• !MPULSE will not be held responsible loss of any instrument
• !MPULSE reserves the right to make any last minute change in the rules.
• In case your performance is interrupted due to any commotion caused in the performance area or any audio/light related problem then the team will be allowed to restart or continue the performance based on their preference and the judge's discretion

Face Value

Rules

• Participation is open to all but limited space.
• Each competitor should deliver all of his or her very own face portray components along with paints, brushes, rinse water for brushes, water field, sponges, sponge-tipped applicators and different tools and components important to complete the competition.
• Competitors won't share paints or other materials during the competition.
• Fashions couldn’t be any obligation to the rules of the competition.
• Models are competitor’s responsibility
• Competitors are endorsed to end up familiar with the policies nicely in advance of the competition.
• Failure to comply with these guidelines can also result in factor discount or complete disqualification from the competition.
• Skin-secure adhesives & adhesive removers must be used.
• Glitter in loose powder, or liquid shape must be used.
• Stencils or stamps of any type must not be used.
• Masks over any part of the face must not be used.
• Fake eyelashes, computer graphics contact lenses, novelty eyeglasses or sunglasses must not be used.

• Exif should be mentioned within the photograph (photo specification)
• All pictures must be taken within last one year, i.e after 21st April 2021.
• All pictures should be original. Cropping / corrections of brightness, contrast, sharpness, white balance to enhance the quality are permitted.
• Images with mixing / merging of two or more images, adding / deleting of the contents from the original image will be disqualified and rejected. If demanded/required, participants shall produce the original digital soft copy photo for verification.


• The judging will be done by the team of judges decided by !MPULSE.
• Entries will be judged equally on creativity, technical expertise and aesthetic value. Entries will be ranked in descending order.
• The decisions of the judges are final and binding in all respects.
• Images should be uploaded through the below mentioned link only, and no entries will be accepted through any other modes viz. prints, soft copies through mails, or physical media like CD/DVD/pen drives etc.
• Link of submission will be deactivated after the last date of submission and no entries will be accepted after that.
• If the entries do not reach !MPULSE COMMITTEE due to any kind of technical fault, !MPULSE shall not be held responsible.
• As mentioned above, entry fee should be paid only by Payment gateway – On or before 21 APRIL 2022, 12.00 MIDNIGHT
• Entries received without entry-fee shall get disqualified automatically.
• Though extreme care shall be taken by !MPULSE, it shall not be liable for any refund of entry fees / compensation due to loss, damage, non-receipt, or withdrawal of any entry.
• Participant must possess the exclusive rights to every photo entered and will be responsible for having all necessary permissions relating to the subject/subject matter, including photos featuring individuals/property. They should possess Original photograph. !MPULSE will not be responsible for any claims or complaints against violation of rights or damages from any parties related to it. The participant agrees to indemnify and hold the !MPULSE harmless in such cases. In case of any dispute, participant shall submit the obtained permissions; else the entry shall be considered as disqualified. The participant is solely responsible for any such damages.
• Entries with watermark/ Individual Name will not be accepted.
• In the event that an entry is found to flout the entry requirements stated by! MPULSE, the entry will be disqualified. Participant will not be notified of such judgment and no refund will be given. It is not the responsibility of !MPULSE to ensure that the exhibition entry requirements and use of personal information do not break the laws and/or regulations of the place/location/state where the photograph is clicked.
• Therefore, it is understood that participant has submitted such entries under their own responsibilities and at their own risk. In the event, that the entry becomes objectionable for the said reason/s !MPULSE will not be responsible for such damages.
• Only one entry per person is eligible for award. If one person gets two or more Prizes, participant will get prize for the highest ranking picture only. (It is applicable only for the first, second, third and two consolation prizes.)
• Submission of the entries to the competition implies acceptance of the above Rules and Regulation.
• In case of any dispute, organizer’s decision will be final.

RULES

• Kalakriti(T-Shirt Painting)
  • Participants shall deliver their very own materials like fabric or acrylic paints, Glitters, brushes, mixing plate, pencil, pen, and eraser.
  • T-shirts will be provided by the committee.
  • Use of every other substances or prepared-made stickers is strictly prohibited.
  • Brushes, paper and carbon paper are allowed.
  • If any participant makes a mistake, no extra t-shirt will be provided.
  • Content needs to be within the bounds of decency. Participants can sell their T- shirts during the 2 days of !mpulse and would get 75% of the selling price and the remaining 25% would be withheld.
  • The top 3 performers would be rewarded with certificates.
  • In case of any dispute the decision of the !mpulse committee would be solely considered.
